The Sunridge Observatory is a non-profit organization. We operate
as any non-profit organization through donations and grants. We
are open to visitors and groups to provide education and access to
equipment for the study of astronomy and education. Please watch
this site for further news and information.
Next event - Visitors night - Saturday March 14th
Saturday, March 28th, the Astronomy Club is having their Annual General Meeting which is combined with our spring party. The Spring Party, which occurs after the business meeting includes meal, draws and a guest speaker. The Spring Party is open to the General Public.

The Medicine Hat Astronomy Club is participating in the International Year of Astronomy. You can participate as well by coming out during a Visitors night or special event during 2009.
Our 18 inch telescope is operational allowing visitors and members to see some exceptional views of the cosmos. Members are still working to increase the usefulness of the telescope.
With the 18 inch telescope now operational, it is time to experience some of the great views of outer space. Members are now working on the electronics to control the telescope. |
We have now set the schedule for the
