Sunridge Observatory 2
Annual Spring Supper and Fund Raiser and Presentation of

Internationally Recognized, Award Winner

Richard Huziak

and his

Tour of the Planets

"We all grew up in awe of still photographs of the night sky that we saw in books and magazines, but in more recent time, the availability of sensitive CCD cameras, digital cameras, webcams and even camera phones have allowed astronomers to record the heavens as "cool videos" that open up a whole new perspective on how the moons of Jupiter move, what the earth looks like as a satellite speeds away, or how a meteorite-producing bolide astounds three provinces. Rick Huziak's presentation takes you on a tour of the planets and strange worlds of the new solar system, mostly in video!"
