We are open to visitors and groups to provide education and access to equipment for the study of astronomy and education. Please watch this site for further news and information.

The Medicine Hat Astronomy Club is participating in the International Year of Astronomy. You can participate as well by coming out during a Visitors night or special event during 2009. Our 18 inch telescope is operational allowing visitors and members to see some exceptional views of the cosmos. Members are still working to increase the usefulness of the telescope. With the 18 inch telescope now operational, it is time to experience some of the great views of outer space. Members are now working on the electronics to control the telescope. |
We have now set the schedule for the 2009 Visitor Nights.. Hope to see you at the observatory. The next visitors night is Saturday, Autust 22 for our Summer Star Party and Fund raiser.
